'What if someone sees us? If something happens to Demyx because you wanted to show off, I'm definitely not helping you out of trouble.'

'Nothing bad will happen! I am perfectly certain people will hardly notice anything! I will be a perfectly normal human-creature talking in perfectly understandable human-speak.'

'...Fugue, do you have any idea how preposterous that sounds?'

[The Gallade does something very much like what would pass for a Gallade quirking an eyebrow, remarkably so considering Gallade possess absolutely nothing like eyebrows.

This is followed up by a hand, replete with long black claw-like nails, waving the comment off just at the edge of the camera, and the gear shaking a bit. Whoops!]

'You worry too muc-' Aaa!

[The camera fumbles some, but is quickly caught by a small ripple of psychic power. The camera now points directly at the...human? in question. A long-haired male with icy-blue eyes, grinning widely at the camera. With really sharp teeth. The male grins wider almost instantly and, with all the goofy energy of a child, waves at the camera.]

Hi.

[Yes, that was English. You heard him right.]

Hiiiiiiiiiiii. Hi. Hi hi hi. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

[Johto, there is a strange creature waving at you energetically and saying the word 'hi' repeatedly in a goofy, cheerful tone for several minutes. Merry Christmas.]

[ Aradia didn't catch that, but her Kirlia did, and relayed it conscientiously. She isn't too bothered by the idea of pretending to be human, though, since she normally...isn't one. ]

[ Quartz, the Kirlia in question, is a lot more skeptical of this nonsense. And says as much in the pokelanguage, while mentally translating for Aradia. ]

[ When she translates her own response, Aradia frowns a little. ] Be nice, Quartz.

[The obviously-not-human on camera grins just slightly wider. When he hears the other voice asking him, Fugue tilts his head slightly and points to himself.]

I? Hi....Hiiiiiiiii. I.

[This probably won't be going much farther in English. Fugue quickly realizes that he's already at the end of his rope, and frowns. When he switches back to pokéspeak, he sounds a little defeated.]

'Trying to learn their language. Is something wrong with that?'

Hi! [ Aradia's apparently fine with going back and forth like this. Sigh trainer sigh.

Quartz will expand on what she meant, though. ]

No. I meant why are you pretending to be one of them on the gear?

'...Because, I learned. My partner helped me learn how to from when I hatched! Now I can do a lot more than just mimic humans I see, I can be this!'

[Fugue motions up and down his assumed human form in pride, clearly uncertain as to why Quartz does not think he is 2cool4school here.]
