-on, little guy, don't don't that. It's not safe to be up there!

[Welcome back to Demyx's life. Today, someone happens to be showing the com an image into the life of our lanky blond. Also, there's a bagon standing on top of a brick pillar above Demyx, who happens to be pleading with the little guy at the moment.]

I turned my back for like, five seconds, Ska. How did you even get up there?

Bagon! BAAAA.

Alto?

[There's a pause, during which the little dragon begins to flail his arms wildly atop the pillar. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, little Ska is trying furiously to flap himself into the air. With his arms.]

What? Ska, you can't even- Ska, come down before you hurt yourself. We gotta do somethin' about this obsession'a yours. Like, I know you wanna learn to fly, little guy. But, come on. Ya gotta-

[Before Demyx can finish that sentence, however, Ska begins to wobble and tips over the edge of the pillar. Demyx gasps and throws himself under the falling pokémon, but before the young Bagon can even reach the midpoint of his fall-]

[Bark! Bark!] Canine!

[A literal flash of speed in the general shape of a canine thrusts itself into the path of the Bagon and catches it in what appears to be a blur of motion. The Bagon is in the air one instant, the blur snatches him up, and they are both gone in less than the blink of an eye. Even shorter there-after, the dragon is seated- comfortably but confused- on the back of an Arcanine. An Arcanine looking rather pleased with himself at the moment. An Arcanine doing his level best to pose heroically after having daringly rescued the falling youngling, in fact.]

Jazz! Oh, man. Jazz, you're awesome.

[Bark]

[At this moment, Demyx turns to the gear in exasperation and motions to the little dragon.]

Does anybody out there know how to stop a Bagon from throwing himself off anything more than a few feet off the ground? This little guy's got me totally ragged. He broke out of a holder while I had my back turned and somehow managed to climb that pillar in the span of, I kid you not, five seconds. Seriously, guys. I need some help with this one.

[Action]
[Later that afternoon Demyx has returned safely from his morning routine of training and performances. His Bagon is safely tucked away in the pokéball in an extended time-out, and the blond is seated on his bed with some sheet paper, a pen, his guitar, and what looks like a recording device. The recorder is running and Demyx has his guitar in his lap, ready to play.]

Alright, take two. One, two, three...

[What happens at this moment can only be described as a one man acoustic jazz performance. Demyx's fingers fly across the strings with precision and flair, his somewhat melancholic choice of pieces are offset by the sheer number of progressions his fingers are managing to perform without a single obvious bit of effort on his part. This is unsurprising considering his previous instrument of choice was a sitar, of all things, the translation of skill in quick, fluid playing is flawless from months of practice.

Around Demyx sit his roster, Alto, Jazz, Fugue, Sharp, and Bass. Each seems mesmerized by the sight and sounds. Rightly so, it's no small feat to manage. However, Demyx looks almost dreamlike and serene as he plays. His expression of peaceful contentment and serenity seems fitting, really, when you hear the music in the air coming from his deep-blue six-string. On the cover of the guitar one could easily make out the word 'Valeria' if they paid attention, which might hold some significance to at least one of his travel partners. Demyx continues to play without pause and, apparently, without the awareness of the world outside himself and his guitar. Approach?]
