Twelth Melody [Audio]

...You guys. Nobody told me that Mount Mortar would be the biggest pain ever in the history of all of time. Holy jeez!

['Sup guys, Dembro's been kind of failing miserably to get out of the cave for a week straight. To say he is so done with caves forever would not be an overstatement. Demyx sighs, and then pushes some buttons to look through network posts and then...]

...Tomorrow's October.

[Spoke with near shock.]

Tomorrow's October.

[With even more shock and awe.]

Halloween's coming up! Oh, man! Halloween is coming! Oh, man. I love Halloween!

[And here comes the childlike glee of a person from a world with a Halloween planet.]

Where I'm from, there's a place where it's Halloween all year round! I love Halloween Town so much! Creepy, cool creatures going around all year long planning tricks and mischief for that one day of the year! I love that!

[He trails off a bit, then giggles sheepishly.]

So, anybody got plans for Halloween this year? There's only so much time left before the big night!

[Because forget the fact that he was furious over caves, you guys. It's October.]

I don't know yet. I caught one, but I haven't really had a chance to train her.

I just thought they were cool. And fire types are usually pretty strong.

I really like Growlithe. They're good pokemon, and loyal to. Mine's evolved though. He's an Arcanine.

[On the other end, Roxas kind of bristles. He didn't like fighting Morty. He's gained a severe fear of ghosts.]

Yeah, I have. He uses ghost types.

If they're at a decent level, yeah, you should be fine. You might want a few others just in case, since it's not good to rely on just two pokemon.

I fought him a while ago, so I can't quite remember the details.
seasaltkeys: (I don't know)

Well, you can always try, you know?

You can challenge a gym as many times as you want.

Has he evolved yet?

What levels do you have? You might be able to overpower him.

Gallade, huh? Well congrats on the evolution.

[Nope. Not surprised in the slightest.]

Well, you said you had a Honchcrow, so that counts for something. You've got some strong pokemon, I guess.

Yeah, it'll take some training, but by the time you're done, you might even be able to match me.

[Roxas shrugs.]

They still have weaknesses though. I mean, Dragons are weak against ice types and other dragons, and Dark types can get taken out by bugs.

It's why I like being a trainer. I can figure out ways to make up for the weaknesses.
seasaltkeys: (I can go the distance)

Yeah, but they're good to have if you're starting out. I have a Butterfree and a Beedrill and they were both really helpful.

[Roxas nods]

I'll just make sure to train extra hard then, in case you catch up.
