[Hello Route! Say hello to the inky fog that has been filling up Johto all week, then say hello to Demyx's face as he turns the camera around.]

Man, this fog is killing me. I've been stumbling all over the place, can't see my hand in front of my face even. Ghosts everywhere! If I turn around to see one more screaming ghost, I'm gunna freak...

[Funny he should say that, really, because there is a vaguely definable rock formation somewhere in front of him and he is absently wandering toward it. It's a training day, after all, and he has his boys out and about to fight the wilds and ~~cull the herds~~ defeat the evils of the ghost swarm!]

...There's something over there.

[Demyx stops dead in his tracks, completely frozen solid in fear as he sees something approaching from the rocks. It slithers up, slowly crawling on its fours and snakes toward him slowly. The silhouette is almost unmistakable.]

N-no way... Shadow! HEARTLESS!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

[The camera crashes to the ground immediately, and Demyx is heard running and screaming in the opposite direction as the creature nears. One of his pokemon grabs the gear while the other, Fugue, rushes toward the beast to attack. The camera feed stops abruptly, then comes back on several minutes later to the real monster in the fog staring at the camera up-close.]

Ssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab.

[The creature grins wide, showing off its razor-sharp teeth. Another victim pranked, just as planned. However...]

Zoro!

GET BACK HERE, YOU JERK!

[The feed cuts again, this time with the little troublemaker looking frightened for a change.]

Considering I've seen plenty of them up-close and way too personal, yeah. Not a sight for sore eyes in the least. In fact, on a list of one to the absolute last thing I ever wanted to see in my entire life here, it's the absolute last thing I ever wanted to see in my entire life here. Hands down.

But what kind of pokémon you could have mistaken for the crazy creatures you described me?

It's called a Sableye, apparently they're cave-dwelling ghost-dark cross-types. This guy must have gotten bored of the cave-man life and decided to take his act on the road.

[Demyx holds up a pokéball, and he is glaring at it so hard.]

They look exactly like Shadows in the fog. And for all the 'aww kinda cute' you might think if you've never seen a shadow before, it will rip your heart out. Mercilessly and rapidly.

Seems like a most pleasant pokémon.

Are you still going to keep the little rascal, even after all the trouble it caused?

...I read the 'dex entry, and like...apparently they like to play tricks and scare people. But, like, apparently they're also a really lonely species that just want to make friends.

I dunno, I know how that kind of life feels. If the little guy really just wants to make friends...I don't think I could just let him go, even after all that. Heck, I play a lot of tricks on people, I love pranks, I just...I dunno, y'know?

Actually, I can relate to that a whole lot. I mean, not gonna say that a well played prank here and there isn't quite rewarding. [He can't help but smile and remembering the stupid tricks he pulled on his younger brother]
