Fourtheenth Melody [Video/Text]
-ononono, Treble, come back man! Shadow, put the gear down!
[Hello Johto, and welcome to the chaos channel. Today we have some serious whirling and twirling of the gear around at high speeds for a few minutes before a loud and annoyed 'Zoro!' is heard and the gear is restored to stationary status. Apologies to those who are now severely motion sick.]
Zo-ro-ro.
Yes! Thank you, Fugue.
GIIIIIIIII.
[And then something crashes over loudly, followed by a long and tired groan.]
Treble, no!
[The camera whirls over to a gible stomping angrily on what appears to be a box of...rocks.]
No, no! That's for Shadow. Don't just stomp on it!
[The offending Gible, box, and all of the rocks that have spilled out suddenly begin to float. The Gible struggles furiously and, to somewhat humorous effect, begins spinning rapidly in the air while the rocks are all replaced and the box is put away at a higher location.]
I owe you one Alto!
[Cut to a cheerful, if utterly exhausted Demyx grinning over at the Gallade in question.]
Now, where's Bass?
Ax!
[On cue, an Axew comes from behind and shoves Demyx over. Then, the newly-hatched dragon proceeds...to nuzzle up against him. Why? Because Demyx-daddy is the best daddy ever and little Bass wants to show it. At all the worst times ever.]
Bass! Oh, there you are...Okay...Yeah...
[EVEN MORE NUZZLES FOR DEM-DADDY.]
I-uh...I'm glad to see you too, Bass.
[Demyx then turns to look at Fugue and, consequently, the gear. The blond mouths the words 'help meeeeeee' silently into the camera, and the camera shakes up and down as the Zoroark holding it nods. The feed cuts just as Fugue begins making his way back over to Demyx.]
[A while later, there is a text post on the network.]
Anyone with some experience raising dragons want to give me some pointers? Two dragons just hatched in my care, and I'm clueless as to how to deal with them.

[Blinking because...what.]
Nah, it couldn't be that easy. I'm guessin' there's a science to it. There's gotta be.

[He trails off at that.]

Cliffjumper's living with me for now, and we're still trying to get Ironhide to agree to stay the winter. Cliff's, ah, my boyfriend.

Man, this place is crazy... Does that happen frequently to people?
[For a place this seemingly random, he's already noted and compiled a lot of apparent 'rules' down in that book. His observations and intel gathered, all in a notebook he's been keeping with him nearly as long as he's been in Johto.]

So, people just fall out for a week solid and end up back in their home worlds? Could it be a dream? Or is there like...literal aging and changes to the body that go with the experiences in the home world?
[And intel man mode is go.]

Her hair reaches to her mid-thigh]
When I went to sleep, my hair was only just to my butt. While I was home, my hair got to where it is now. When I woke up, my hair was this long. Al Bhed hair grows fast, but this is too fast for it to just be that. I don't think super major changes, like scars and stuff, just appear, but.

[He pauses in note-taking for a moment, taps the pen against his chin a few times, then gestures off into the air.]
Well, anyway. Lemme finish gettin' all this down, how long have you and Cliff been a thing here?
[Back to notes, but it's clear that he's giving her otherwise full attention. It might have been apparent at this point that Demyx has skill with things commonly used by covert intel operatives, which could be seen as suspicious at best, but to him it was just business and preparedness.
Then again, he could have just been a journalist. Same skill set, different uses.]

[Demyx looked up back to Rikku, clearly confused for a moment until he managed to put it together.]
Oh! Nah, it ain't that. I used to be...er. I used to work for an organization of folks lookin' for something before I came here. Suffice it t'say, I was the intel guy. I might look like a goof, an' no doubt that I sure am, but I'm good at my job when I need to be.

[A beat]
Wait, why does it matter how long I've been seeing Cliff? Or was that just you being curious?

[See also the fact that ledges are in bold print in his book.]
