Hey, I'm headed to Kanto for a few weeks. I'm gunna see about nabbing the badge from Celadon while Violet's gym is out. It's a short ride off the Magnet Line and a few days back and forth from Celadon and Saffron. Wish me luck!

I'm gunna take the Magnet Line up to Saffron and take out those two like you suggested, Riku. If you guys happen to be around the area, I might hang out up there for a few days before I head back home to Goldenrod.


So. Anybody know what kinda challenge Erika or Sabrina are packin'? Headed up that way to take 'em on. Forewarned and forearmed, y'know.

Unless things have really changed, which they could've, Erika has Grass types and Sabrina has Psychic. Meaning Bug is good for either, but if you don't have good bugs you have a few options for Grass and... Ghost and Dark for Psychic.

Grass is weak against Fire, right? I've got an Arcanine with me, and then a Steel type...I've got a few Dark types, too. Maybe I should train for a few weeks...It sounds like I'm gunna need to do somethin' about rearrangin' the troops...

Fire is the classic answer, ice and flying are also good picks!

Generally helps to have a few Pokemon to pick from, if the Gym leader can lucky shot your best fighter contingency plans are good.

Unless you wanna try to be a badass and do it all with one Pokemon!
